Just try and keep terrain between you and enemy ships so you don't get lit up by more than three ships. You will be spotted first, you will be shot at first.

You are basically a tank, in the RPG sense. probably the worst balanced class right now, you will always be on fire, and you just need all the captains skills to be effective. Send two squadrons and attack in a V, as in from two directions, so the battleship will have no choice but to eat a bunch of torpedoes. Your torpedo bombers are great for whittling down their massive health bars. Your fighters are the earliest response to take down enemy torpedo bombers. It's very important to discover where the enemy battleships and carriers are first. You can also just have planes circle over enemy ships who have no AA batteries to keep them lit up forever. Scouting! The planes are very fast and cover large areas pretty quickly. the classes of ship to have different roles, but it can also depend on which country you are piloting.
